Last year’s introduction of MIDAS Farm Records brought state and county office employees and customers multiple benefits, including the integration of GIS with farm records, a streamlined reconstitution process, and an integrated compliance crop table (Product Master). With the addition of the FY15 release of MIDAS Business Partner, the field can readily access key information — customer data, and geospatial farm, tract, field data —within a single, integrated system for the first time. The team is currently testing the second release to ensure that Business Partner is ready to become the system of entry and record for all customer records. This release is currently scheduled for an FY15 Go-Live.
Following the MIDAS Business Partner release the agency will refocus our efforts on ensuring the operational availability, security and integrity of our current applications and services; providing continuous business process improvements to our applications and services for changes to program legislation, business requirements, and technology; and enabling new customer models that support FSA as it becomes the gateway for farmers and ranchers to access rural and agricultural support services.
Thank you all for your continued support. As always, please feel free to contact our team if you have any questions.
